Snow Day!!!!

Hope everyone is staying warm on this glorious Friday!!! We have been out of school for the last two days due to snow!!! We were suppose to only get maybe 2 inches well we had that withing the first 3 hours!!! I think most of us got around 4-5 inches when it was over but now there is a lot of ice due to the single digit cold spell!!! I'm dreaming of somewhere warm to go right about now because I'm not a winter person!!! At least with being stuck in the house I'm working on some projects that I hope to share with you tonight or tomorrow though!! Until then I have a secret to share...I received an email today stating I had won "The Stylish Blogger Award!!!"

As a recipient of this award I have to tell 8 things about myself and then pass the award on to eight other blogs that I find very "stylish"!

1.) When I first went to college I was an art major but decided fast that I could not teach  art every day and still like what I did.

2.) I owned my own craft consignment store for several years and traveled to craft fairs in several states.

3.)  I'm a substitute teacher for grades K-12 and love it especially high school!!!

4.) My husband and I have been married for 27 years and he has worked on a riverboat the whole time and is only home every other 30 days!!!

5.) I have 4 sons, Chris 24, Jackie 22, William 9 and Kyle 8.

6.) We just retired in July 2010 from being foster parents for 12 years and have had over 60 children live with us!!

7.) For 8 years I taught the foster and adoption classes for the state of Missouri.

8.) I love sharing files and anything artsy, crafty with my online friends!!
